AgEnviro Solutions is a multi-disciplinary Environmental Consultancy headed by Dr Mick Battam. Mick has:
- 20 years of practical experience consulting in the fields of soils, irrigation and landscape assessment
- A Doctorate in Agricultural Science (Soil Science) in soil water movement
- TAFE certificates in Urban Irrigation and Building Contracting Management
- Lectured at University
- Taught at TAFE
- Presented at international conferences
- Conducted one day workshops and training days for local councils, the EPA, NSW Agriculture and Compost Australia
- Been published in numerous magazines and journals
Mick is principal author of the Sydney Water Love Your Garden program, the Watersmart Garden Centre course, the Footprint Calculator app for sports field managers and the Sydney Water Best Practice Guidelines for Holistic Open Space Turf Management in Sydney, 2011. He is a licensed urban irrigation contractor, a certified irrigation designer and a certified irrigation agronomist. On 24th July 2014 he was presented with an award by AORA for ‘Outstanding contribution to organics market development by an individual, processor or marketing organisation’. Mick is supported by a team of staff qualified and experienced in all aspects of Landscape Design, Horticulture, Arboriculture, Irrigation, Software Engineering, Education and Training. Staff members include Steve Garland and Rex Sullings (Irrigation Consultant).
